Over time, uric acid, salts and scale form a bio-film on the urinal waste trap, drain and pipework, providing an ideal environment for bad bacteria to grow. When urinal flushing is reduced, waste remains in the waste trap and pipework and hardened scale deposits build up. Along with chewing gum, hair and other foreign matter, this build up can cause blockages in the urinals and pipework.
Not only are urinal blockages expensive to clear, the result is an overflowing urinal that makes a poor impression on staff and visitors alike. Overflowing urinals can cause siginificant damage to your premises that can be expensive to rectify.

The Enviro-Fresh patented urinal sleeve (Sani-Sleeve) is suitable for new and existing urinals. It contains bio-enzymes (‘good bacteria’) that penetrate uric acid, salts and scale to prevent build up. Waste is then simply washed out of the system on the next flush. The design of the sleeve cap prevents foreign matter such as chewing gum and hair from falling into the waste trap.
